EPF-32

A fuse serves as the core protective component in circuit systems, specifically designed to interrupt abnormal current paths. When overload or short-circuit occurs in the line, its internal fusible element rapidly heats up and melts due to the Joule heating effect, forcibly cutting off the fault current to prevent equipment damage and fire hazards. The core value lies in providing irreplaceable short-circuit protection through physical fusing mechanisms, establishing itself as the electrical system’s last line of defense.

  • 250-500VAC versatility
  • Quick fault diagnosis
  • Overload/arc safety
  • Prevent overheating
  • Extends service life
  • Rapid maintenance

Product
Description

EPF-32 Fuse Switch Disconnector provides 32A operational current at 500V insulation voltage for 2P-4P configurations, with 10×38mm gG fuses (2-32A) enabling precise overload and short-circuit protection up to 20kA breaking capacity. Integrated LED status indicators and arc-extinguishing forced-break mechanisms ensure safe load disconnection. Certified to IEC 60947-3/CE/CB/TUV, its IP20 protection and DIN rail mounting support deployment in distribution cabinets, renewable energy inverters, and industrial control panels.

To ensure long-term stable operation, systematic periodic maintenance is required: Before replacing fusible elements, de-energize and verify zero voltage. Use strictly identical-rated elements; prohibit copper substitution or parallel installation, avoiding mechanical damage during handling. Periodically remove dust/carbon deposits, inspect ceramics for cracks/flashover and contacts for oxidation/overheating. Perform 1-3 year maintenance: measure contact resistance ≤200μΩ and insulation resistance ≥300MΩ, calibrate mounting angles (e.g., 15°-30° for drop-out fuses) to ensure fault reliability.
